Message We had a great dinner last night besides the usual small glitches.... thanks to all the sponsors for their donations, everyone that attended (around 100), everyone that bought tix just to support our event (your stuff will be shipping soon), Socos for the awesome shirt & laminate design (3rd year), Zeroflake for that completely smoking intro (Mike, I wish you could have been there to see it on the BIG screen... someone took some pics of it in motion), Ashley for retiring NiXit or ni[x]it as trophy girl, my best man (literally) Jeff for performing manual labor all afternoon to get ready for the event, Studio Movie Grill for giving us the opportunity to host the event in such a cool environment, and last but definitely not least, my wife Mindi & Greg's wife Dixie for making things really come together when it counted.

The Show'n'Shine out front was awesome as well... we had a ton of cars out in the parking lot for the locals to oogle.

Show'n'Shine winners were:

3rd place: rodelb
2nd place: Woody75 (Denver)
1st place: CollegeBoy

Admin's Choice: SilverZXTT(CO)

One day we'll figure out how to get through the raffle part faster. :-)

Also, tt.NET was a primary sponsor w/ Toyo Tires & 300 Degree for the track day @ MSR. We had to deal with a few hiccups, but overall it was an enjoyable day. As Guapo mentioned earlier, it was incredible to see the flood of Z32s out there. The track was covered with them at all times.

I did quite a bit of instructing during the day getting people on the proper line. MSR is one of those tracks that can tolerate the novice and still challenge the experienced. In a very safe environment. MSR is a really nice facility and is continuing to grow with the second circuit now paved for use and condos being built along the back stretch. A racer's paradise! I'm sure a lot of n00bs to the circuit world are now hooked, it's pretty shocking to check the speedo out and seeing that 'going with the flow of traffic' means 105MPH+. That's what set the hook in me.

Yes, this post is worthless without pics. I think I've snapped 2 so far this convention. I figure everyone else will share theirs.

Thanks everyone!! See you out at TMS in the morning!

When was the last time you *really* did something with your Z to call yourself a Z enthusiast?
